Dedication vs Commitment
Dedication often begins with a spark of motivation or a will to change. This could happen after someone goes to a party, gets sick or even looks in the mirror. This “dedication” usually tends to be quick and short-lived.
Commitment is staying dedicated.
Validation vs Success
Validation is something you receive from either your peers or someone else. It gives us a short-term boost and a false sense of success. It can sometimes even hurt us. Don’t let the validation cloud your judgment of success. People tend to let others’ validation change their end goal making them optimize for those little bits of success.
Real success results from sustained effort, and it does not happen overnight.
